Experience

Quipux S.A.S

Data Analyst (Internship)

The first internship, with data for the collections automation team

Overview

Quipux is a Colombian software company for mobility and traffic; its projects include Medellín's Intelligent Mobility System.

I did my data analysis internship there from August 2022 to May 2023, on the collections automation team. It was my first job in tech.

Titles

Aug 2022 – May 2023
Data Analyst (internship)
I prepared and cleaned large volumes of campaign data, designed KPI dashboards and reports for decision making and automated with Python the reports and file cross-checks that used to be done by hand.

What I did

Built ETL routines to clean, transform and load data for managerial reports.
Automated data processes and periodic reports with Python scripts and BI tools.
Designed dashboards to monitor KPIs in revenue collection and mobility processes.
Implemented data extraction and cleaning routines with SQL on relational databases.
Wrote Python notebooks with Pandas for the daily tracking of the area's campaigns in several cities and to clean up purchased databases.
Maintained the campaigns' email and SMS exclusion lists and automated file downloads, filters and joins to generate them without manual work.
